Just setting up shop on a free social site like Facebook isn't always a great idea.

On the social sites, whatever content you submit is theirs. If the site decides some day to change the rules, or go offline altogether, all of your effort can be wasted. It is so much better when you own your own domain and have your own hosting. If you own your site, your content is yours and you own it (except for copyrighted material, of course).

If you decide that getting your own domain name and publishing your own website is what you want to do, you'll have a variety of hosting choices, including options for free hosting and paid hosting. The paid hosting is really a great deal now, because many hosts are offering packages sufficient for most users at rates under $12 a month. Some are as low as $5 per month.

Even with pay by the month hosting being so cheap, some folks still like the idea of free web hosting. If your site is small, strictly for fun, and you wouldn't mind if it went away suddenly then free hosting might be okay for you. If your intention is to promote any business or sell anything, free hosting isn't a good idea.

My bottom line suggestion is to avoid free web hosting altogether. Paid hosting is very inexpensive now, and the features and control you have over your site are more than worth the small monthly fee. If you have nothing to lose, free hosting is okay, just know the downside of going that route.

First step is finding the market niche that you want and to drive traffic to your product. First, you need to know who is the clientele/customer? What type of person is this? Are they going to be a male or female? Where do they reside/live? What language do they speak? What amount of money do they make? Now what does your clientele truly want? First and foremost a person will want to know what they are getting is worth it. Well how can you tell? The B.B.B. will be able to tell you which products/programs that are of value to you and your clientele. Anything that is above a B+ rating would be good in my eye's but you may feel differently.

Some of the one's on the B.B.B. show no problems or rating this may be due to not enough feedback to them about that particular product so please be careful but it is best to check out your product. Also many people have found that free product information is a good way to find out about a product before you purchase it. Free reports, or daily or weekly e-mails are a good way to get your product out there repeatedly to your clientele.

The idea is that you are going to provide someone a sullution for what they are feeling needs help or improvement. Whether it be a promotional product, affiliate products or a new digital camera that records in the highest pixel count known these days by this specific company. While you are researching you will find most of the area's your clientele will be, and in what area you need to promote your product or promotional advertisement. What type of reading do they do? Where do they go to find and read what interests them and how would you be able to bring them to your product. Research is the first and foremost part of starting your own business in any form.
