Jeff Paul Revisited

I think it's time to do an update on good old Jeff Paul and his "Short Cuts to Internet Millions". Jeff Paul has had a little time, since the first review I wrote on him, to either improve the way he runs his online companies or continue to run scams.

Well after running a few searches on Mr. Jeff Paul it looks, to me as if John Paul has not changed at all.

Here are two complaints on Jeff Paul I have found on other sites.

12/5/2008 - Marty writes: I've done a bit more research. Jeff Paul runs this under various company names, and the BBB rates them an F. Multiple complaints like the ones listed on this site. Company never responds to these complaints as the BBB has no enforcement authority. The CA Attorney General needs to look at these clowns that have taken so much from so many. I've not found one positive revue of any of his products other than those he's produced himself on his own sites. Testimonials to how great all this crap works. Cancel your credit card ASAP. Even if you try to cancel with these scam artists, they will charge you again!

8/21/2008 - Ted writes: I should know better. Having owned, run, and sold other very successful companies, I felt a few thousand dollars was a small investment to help my small staff get a couple of good websites up and operational so we could improve our internet presence. Despite our 35 years of other business accolades we had little internet experience or presence. The materials were sophomoric at best and foreshadowed the competence of the coaches assigned to help us. Jeff Paul's idea of canned websites turns out to be reselling junk literature from their portfolio. Not exactly as represented when we were solicited or promised over the phone. Of course they sell your name to web developers who try to get a second and third bite. Offers for dozens of valuable services come often. My staff, despite their competence, have gained little in training or competence, as the Jeff Paul system has proven virtually worthless in producing a true ecommerce website worthy of any companies reputation. The infomercial is appealing and obviously works for them. But if your goal is truly to create value for your company or self by selling on the internet. Save your few thousand (even it that is not a lot of money to you), and find a local web developer with great references and a few years of experience they are plentiful. Price paid, lesson learned. Avoid Jeff Paul.

Well people it looks to me like Mr. Jeff Paul hasn't done a thing to improve his image. In fact it looks like Jeff Paul as continued to scam people right and left.

As I said in my first look at Jeff Paul, "The only thing I can say about Jeff Paul is it would be best, IMO, to stay away from him."

Jeff Paul's "Short Cuts to Internet Millions" does have a low cost startup, but it's just the tip of the iceberg, as you will be solicited for various upgrades, paid training and expensive mentoring After researching Jeff Paul I found tens if not hundreds of complaints about the Jeff Paul system. Many people have paid $1950.00 for the revolutionary system, which claims to provide a 60-day unconditional money back guarantee. Of course the money was never returned. One person was taken for $8,500.00, which was never refunded! This person claims to have tried to contact Greg Wardin the so-called 'confidence man' many times requesting a refund. All attempts failed. In fact he has never even been able to reach Greg Wardin. This doesn't sound much like an unconditional money back guarantee to me. The only thing I can say about Jeff Paul is it would be best, IMO, to stay away from him.

Bob Brinker Busted!

Bob can we trust you, you keep blowing it.

Here is an update.

Now this isn't a bad thing unless you lost money behind it and if you did you must not have been paying attention to the real estate market or doing your home work on what stocks were doing.

I said in the first review of Bob Brinker,

"Do not just arbitrarily throw your money into the market just because some guy has you thinking that they know what they are talking about."

This is what Mike from Oregon has to say about Bob Brinker,

Mike from Oregon, USA 2008-10-05 I have been a MT subscriber for about 6 years. Bob correctly called the end of the dot com boom in January 2000, and told everyone to sell all holdings. consequently, I rode out the three year stock slide in cash, and He called it to the day in March 2003, the lift off of the market that lasted until October 2007. Bob did not foresee the dire implications of this current crisis, he seems to have called the end several times in his letter, and had subscribers buying all the way into September. time will tell if this bear market closes out his favorable ratings. To be fair, this bear market has been unpredictable for many professional investors. Good luck to us all.

Well Mike from Oregon with Bob Brinker "calling the end of the .coms" and "the lift off of the market in March 03" I guess, in your opinion he's not doing too bad. Or as a song title by Meatloaf said "Two Out Of Three isn't Bad." And it's not, unless you lost your ass on the one he missed, the third one.

Bob Brinker yet another self-promoting market guru. These guys are pronouncing doom and gloom or everything is rosy. Whatever it takes to sell them and remove money from your wallet. Just because a guy is on the radio does not mean he is going to make you money.

Bob Brinker's main program is a radio financial program called Money Talk where listeners can call in on the 800# with questions or comments that will be aired on the show. Topics covered are generally stock market and investment portfolio centered Bob Brinker also has a monthly newsletter called Marketimer covering issues like the good and the bad times to be making moves in the stock market with your portfolio.

A one year subscription to the newsletter is going for $185.00 He does offer one back issue to be mailed to you for free.

You can also hear Marketimer over the internet for a monthly fee of around $5.00.

Bob Brinker also sells hats, t-shirts and coffee mugs, on his website, which are used to promote his show "Bob Brinker's Marketimer"

Now if you have some of your own money that you don't know what to do with give Bob Brinker a call. I'm sure he would be willing to offer you some advice and put it on his show. Whether the advice is worth anything is up to you to decide

If you want to invest, learn to do it on your own and study, study, study and then study some more. Then paper trade until you have proven to yourself that you can make money. Do not just arbitrarily throw your money into the market just because some guy has you thinking that they know what they are talking about.

You can learn from Bob Brinker but it is your money and only you care enough about it to make sure you do not lose any.

I would not recommend Bob Brinker's recommendations unless you have paper traded and proven to yourself that his advice can make you money.

I do recommend him from a learning point of view, because when it comes to the markets, knowledge is power.
