This was Willis' featuring debut; guitarist Stanley Jordan makes a lyrical appearance. Cast includes Kim Basinger, Bruce Willis, John Larroquette, William Daniels, and Graham Stark. 8 Percent Women: While a triumphant businessman is widowed, his child tries to help him through his misery by taking him on a sensual odyssey. The females range from a prior nun Collette to a horsewoman (Plummer) who wears a weird see through harness. Copious nudity couldn't keep this from being a massive bore. Cast includes John Sitting, Matthew Delamere, Vivian Wu, Shizuka lnoh, Barbara Sarafian, Manna Fujiwara, and Polly Stroller. (121 minutes, 1999)
China Nine Liberty 37: This is a mystifying Western in which railroad tycoons spare a gentleman from the gallows in trade for killing another gunfighter. The gunfighter's girl falls for the killer and helps do his evil work. Title refers to the signpost giving distance to 2 close-by towns. Cast includes Warren Oates, Fabio Testi, Jenny Agutter, and Sam Peckinpah. (102 minutes, 1978)
Coming To America: Prince Akeem has come to Queens N.Y. from Africa. Back in Africa, a wife has been selected for him to marry. Instead the Prince comes to America to find the love of his life, and marry her instead.
Exit Wounds: Orin Boyd is a cop who doesn't follow the rules. He has saved the Vice President of the US, but he didn't follow orders, so he is sent to Detroit's precinct 21, its worst area. With his new partner George, they set out to clean up the drug problems in the 21st. When they do, they find a lot of dirty cops are involved.
House on 92nd Street: Arousing documentary style drama-based movie. It's about truth and orchestrated on true locations about FBI counterespionage exercises throughout WW2: Nazi representatives, operating in N.Y.C. try to steal part of the atom bomb secrets. Charles G. Booth made an Oscar for this story. Cast includes William Eythe, Lloyd Nolan, Signe Hasso, Gene Lockhart, Leo G. Carroll, and Lydia Clair. (88 minutes, 1945)
